Politically-Challenged

(thanks to adirondackbasecamp.com for image)

Besides those that really are interested in government and politics, how many of us can say that we know much about the government and politics? Ask me anything about the stimulus, the Congress, Senate, bills, healthcare, and all that mumbo-jumbo, and I wouldn’t know a darn thing…though I wish I did.

No one really ever cares about anything unless it directly affects them. The economy is one. I actually see people become more politically active because of how the economy affects them. Yeah, it only matters when the green stuff is involved. Nope, not when these groups of people are controlling our country.

We might be living, breathing, using, and crapping on this soil, but we don’t even give a thought to those sitting in state capital offices. Politically-challenged? No worries, you aren’t the only one. Let’s all hold hands and bathe in under-a-government-rock-limelight. But, apparently, we all know the President. You know, he’s not the only one with the steering wheel. There’s all the people under him, which he has to get through before making his plans and ideas go live.

Heck, there was a report somewhere that surveyed people on super duper basic questions about the U.S., and other things that the common American should know…right? Unfortunately not. We’re fine and happy, as long as our land remains free and untouchable. Which includes the green stuff. Go ahead, do whatever you want. *hugs land and $$$*

I don’t know if this is a good or bad thing. It’s good that you don’t have to bother yourself with all the nooks and crannies of the government. Way too complicated. But it’s also bad when you’re not even able to name your governor (no, that’s not me…or is it?).

Well, that’s a different tone in any article I’ve written...which was under 10 minutes. :]

...PROPS.....

Recently, there have been several judgments on the controversial issue of gay marriage. States such as California, Arizona, and Florida have all passed legislature defining marriage as between a man and a woman. In California, both sides of Prop 8 (which overturned a previous ruling, Prop 22) produced substantial amounts of fundraised money, both totaling more than $35 million.

Arguments flew in both directions. Many of those who backed propositions/changes to the state constitution were religious. Many religions, actually most might be a more proper word, are fundamentally against the marriage of two members of the same sex. Supposedly, there are numerous teachings, readings, and etc. that have formed the basis of their argument. Many can cite the Bible in a way as to disapprove of gay marriage, and use examples such as Adam and Eve. Some would say homosexuality is a sin itself, others would say that homosexual deeds (such as gay marriage) are sinful. Even others are open supporters of gays. It’s a sticky situation, one that I have no right to speak of, since I don’t know enough of it in the first place.

Still others may even use a biological argument. Conception can come only with the help of both a man and a woman. Both of the uhm, organs..., are needed to reproduce. If all that is so, then perhaps women and men belonged together, and in no other way?

At the same time however, there are also an abundance of arguments backing same sex marriage. Who’s to say one cannot love one another? Marriage in the eyes of many is the ultimate consummation of one’s love and faith for another individual. Also, many arguments against it are religious in nature, even when this is placed in the hands of the law, and not of religious institutions. Is government affected by religion that much? Is it right for a ruling body to deal out rulings affecting many? Not all people in a state or country are religious, not all of them have a fundamental belief against gays, and what the hell does marriage really mean (at least in a law sense)? Other areas in the world I believe have allowed same sex marriage (I believe I’m correct when I say that Canada has?).

The biological argument I’m sure can be interpreted in many ways. I mean, cakes are meant to be eaten, but I’m sure people throw it too, ain’t no controversy there eh?

I’m not telling you what to choose though (.......ignore the image?..). Maybe you’re undecided, then you should work this out. You have to find out what you’re beliefs are, what your morals are, what your values are, and what’s important to you. Our basic morals and values are of course given to us as young children; there can always be slight changes, and perhaps even major upheavals of it. But if you just keep swaying, if you just keep moving along to the wind (or beat), then you won't end up anywhere. You’ll be tossed around like a just eaten lasagna in a runner’s stomach that is about to be thrown up.

Will You

Is bottled water better than tap water? It’s not like tap water is particular dirty; it does have to go through a filtering process. Plenty of bottled water is perhaps filtered just as much, or maybe less. Plus, bottled water uses plastic, and it sure does cost a lot to ship it, bottle it, and make the plastic. Tap water also has fluoride in it……………

Can things really become worse, purely because of the perceptions it has taken? If people think Yao Ming is really overrated, is he? Can what those outside of this thing’s direct contact really affect the actual, absolute quality of whatever is being judged? Can a musician(s) become terrible, overrated, and despised to someone just because of the way others think about it? Are we so gullible? Are we so needy that outside perceptions will affect what we think of something? Of course it will happen, but can it happen in a drastic manner? If someone says Alex Rodriguez sucks at the clutch, and always has, does that mean him hitting in a few game winning RBIs or HRs in the playoffs mean he got lucky for a game? Can that restaurant suddenly have bad food once you start to despise their waiters? Can a band start to become watered down once others have caught on?

Does anybody else reading this ever get annoyed at people who are overtly trying to, or are trying to seem to be, green? Actually, screw that, this can be anything really, not just being green, any other little niche too. Maybe they just try to shove it on you too much, but really, whoever said they were (insert here?) in the first place. Maybe you just played a benefit concert for that old dude who lost the election way back when, you probably got there in gas-guzzling private airplane, not to mention the stretched hummer you used to get to and from the airport.

I think its nice to know that something’s a bit funny with little kids running around at night (Halloween specifically) asking for money? Aren’t cute little kids with money in a box also completely defenseless little kids with lots of money that are just waiting to be tripped. Plus, their candy is probably going to get taken, or at least crushed on the floor. You’d UNICEF could think of better ways to advertise and get donations, rather than well, getting little kids beat up, because well, that’s kind of the opposite of what their supposed to do...

I honestly wondered what would happen if people just sat down, and wrote one big long paragraph on why, specifically why, they loved such a poet, musician, band, author, painter, filmmaker, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. Would you kind of gain an insight into them selves?...maybe see why they appreciate that particular thing so much? Who knows I guess…

Shallow Depth

Have any of you heard of those satirical news reports? Examples would be The Onion, and the Kensington Report. They basically make fun of random stuff, and it’s hilarious to watch, but one recently caught my attention. It was a Kensington Report one about the subject of, “celebrities are actually super humans.” They basically said celebrities are super humans who are better than us in every way. It seems rather random, but in a way it’s kind of true. What makes a celebrity a celebrity? Fame, power, money, who they know, relationships? Don’t all of us want that? We really don’t know what defines one, if we did, then we all could be one, which would mean that nobody is a celebrity, which is kind of an oxymoron but kind of isn’t.

We think that these celebrities are just amazing, perfect examples of what humans should be. Naturally, because they’re famous, they’re better than everyone else. We envy them, want to be like them, glorify them in magazines, in the media, in the press. It doesn’t mean they’re bad people; this is a thing of the mass audience. We want to see what we think is perfect, we want to know what perfect is, we want to see and know, so we can try and achieve it. Which frankly is impossible, since perfect is dependent on who you ask, and who we are, are who we are, who they are, are who they are. A bit repetitive there, but that’s the best way I could phrase it. So it’s all a fake. Everything is over bloated and exaggerated. Yet still we search, pore for the latest gossip. All of it is to just make you feel good. The magazines tell you, it’s not your fault, and nothing is good enough for you. You always deserve the “best”, even if they, and you, don’t know what that is. But for ***** sake, you go ahead and tell yourself! You don’t need some stupid people writing shit to rip some money off of you to make you feel good.

Isn’t it kind of possible they’re just normal people? They most certainly are. They are what any normal person would do with fame and money. If you had money and fame, would you still live like you do right now?

I’ve always wondered what my ideal life would be. If would ever want to be famous. I guess it would kind of be nice to be perhaps slightly famous, in that indie kind of way where you’re not exactly super famous. I definitely do not want paparazzi hounding me, to live in a huge gigantic mansion, to be super rich, to be all over those damn magazines and t.v., and a bunch of other stuff. In fact, I’m the last person in which all that would happen too. And I really don’t mind, because I really would not care too much about that. Having a good income that keeps you well off is fine with me, having a nice little house that’s big enough, not over-sized, you get the point.

With everything, do we not want more? There will always be something more expensive, fancier, classier, hipper, richer, but is any of that going to make you happy?

The Onion is great. My personal favorite is the one where the Supreme Court ruled the death penalty legal because it was “totally badass”. Except for one judge, who said it wasn’t ruthless enough. (read the bottom headlines too)

A "GAS-ly" Disaster

(sorry for the bad title puns...including my last article...haha)

Did you think paying $4.50 per gallon of gas is expensive (even though it is)?

You obviously haven't seen Oslo, Norway's price per gallon.

For unleaded gas alone, it costs about $2.68.

Oh, hah! I forgot to tell you: that's the price of gas per quarter gallon. The real price per gallon costs about $10.72. Don't worry, your eyes aren’t deceiving you.

For a full, 10-gallon tank, that would cost you about $107.20. I don’t know about you, but that's just insanely mad. For the same 10-gallon tank over here in the U.S., that's more than double the amount you'd have to pay.

Eight years ago, about around this time of year, the price of unleaded gas was only $1.59. People would die for prices like that. We could get 30 gallons of gas today for $45, with that $1.59 price. Imagine what you can do with all that money you could save...

It's sad how this whole gasoline ordeal is affecting us. It's bad enough that the Earth has to suffer for our convenience, but our money and economy has to go through disastrous spending. If we had the technology back then, we could've started our transportation with renewable sources, but now, it's a bit too late. Just imagine—if we were to switch to floating cars (which will probably never happen), the entire world's highways and roads would have to be replaced (if it was required). That would result in even more spending.

But if we simply switch to hydrogen/electricity-powered cars, it would still cause problems. Where will all the people in the world get their gas if they still have a gasoline-powered car? Does that mean the government will have to give out free hydrogen/electricity-powered cars? Think of the costs!

You know, it might well be too late to change our way of transportation, but I still believe that we can change the way we treat the Earth. Personally, I try to recycle any goods that are recyclable. Look at it this way—you're saving the Earth, and you're getting money for recycling. It couldn't get better than that. Besides, you don’t want that CRV tax to haunt you forever.

With all that said, I saw this hilarious depiction of our crisis. Take a look (it's my favorite!):

Erringly Straying

Hopes and expectations, in a way, are very different. Sometimes they’re extremely different, comparable, but nonetheless as different as peacocks and Gatorade. I’m sure plenty of people would like to become famous, make cruise-loads of money, and all that. But to be honest, do you expect to? Do you really tell yourself that in a few years, you’ll be rich and on top of the world. Even if your hopes and dreams aren’t exactly stardom, maybe just doing what you love, meeting someone you can love, and being perfectly happy with life, sometimes, you can laugh at yourself for things as simple as that. You don’t expect anything at all to change, but that doesn’t mean you’d sure like them to.

The funny thing is, those very expectations could get in the way of those hopes, those dreams. If you don’t expect much at all to happen, there’s a good chance nothing at all will. Just because something is improbable, that doesn’t make it impossible to do. If you never expect to achieve your dreams, it means you never really tried to in the first place. Goals are achievable, well, because if they weren’t, there wouldn’t be too many albums, movies, and T.V. shows going around know would there?

Too often, those expectations get in the way of those dreams.

Hopefully, those dreams are reasonable…but then again…that’d be a bit contradictory…

Or maybe…those people decided to become whatever they are because they couldn't figure out anything else they wanted to be.

Scrubbing for my Dollar

To start off the month of May, I’ll write a little something about ‘greed’.

Being my bored self, I took a look at my aunt’s bookshelf, and I spotted an odd looking book, titled “DUH! The Stupid History of the Human Race”. (hmm, maybe that’s true…). I flipped to a random page in the book, which led me to “Chapter 14: Dumb Things Famous People Said.” Wow…really, really interesting…is it?

Actually, it is. Coincidentally, this quote was on the page:

“I think greed is healthy. You can be greedy and still feel good about yourself.”
-Ivan Boesky, financier

I laughed to myself when I read that. In some ways, that’s true—because when you’re greedy, it’s always about yourself. Moments where you feel greedy are the moments where you feel selfish. Don’t take me wrong—you might not be a selfish person, but everyone has their own selfish moments, right?

I can’t even recall the countless moments where I’ve felt greedy. Ranging from video games to books to music, I’ve always dreamed of getting everything. I mean, if you have an amount of wealth equal to that of Bill Gates, you could just point to something you want and you’ll get it! How GREAT is that?

But then again, would you have the same feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment when you buy the item? When you work extremely hard for your money, and you actually start spending it on something, you feel good when you get it, because you know you earned it really well. I mean, you also ‘earned’ the bunches of money you have (when you’re wealthy), but when you earn less, everything you buy will seem so much more valuable. Instead of saying “Oh, wow, the newest Guitar Hero is being released tomorrow. I’ll just go tell my chauffeur to drive me there tomorrow and get it,” it’d be much more satisfying in the end if you said, “Oh, the newest Guitar Hero is being released tomorrow. Let me work hard to earn the amount of money, and then I’ll go buy it!” That way, while you’re playing the game, you’ll have a warm feeling on the inside that you worked your butt off to get this time to play.

Dang! That was a long, random ramble. I’m just sittin’ here at my aunt’s computer in San Diego typing some random article because of this random spark of inspiration from this random book I found on her random bookshelf. Yeah…random.

Stressing out about out stressing.

Stress.

Stress.

Stress.

I can't stress that any further.

Being a human is such a tough job. You constantly have to worry...and you worry when you don’t even know you're worrying. Kids and adults alike, we're all stressed. Humans are made that way.

Let's take a look at an innocent little student:

"Ugh, okay...well, I have math, history, science, and English homework today...don't forget the science fair project...OH! FREAK! THERE'S A PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT DUE TOMORROW! I haven't even started...not to mention two benchmarks, one test, and one writing exam this week...why, oh why..."

Okay. Now an adult:

"What a tiring day at work...stupid boss...that machine was fixed just moments ago, I swear...I just have to take the blame, don't I, nice-guy...let's see...mail, mail, bill, mail, bill, bill, bill, and bill...FIVE BILLS?! I ain't Bill Clinton here...how am I going to pay all this...I only earn enough to keep my family alive...wow, I'm hungry...OH **** I FORGOT TO PICK UP CODY FROM PRACTICE!"

You can imagine that adult as a woman or a man...same either way.

It's completely never-ending. As a child, we only get five years of rest (more like actually learning to become a normal person), and then we have to go to school for a minimum of 16 years...then you learn more (if you choose to), get a job...find a family...settle down...do more of your job...survive with your family...get old, and...you know what happens next.

Society has made us like this. We can't do much about it. If you choose not to do well in education, you live on the street...and there goes your life. If you choose not to work your job, say bye to your family and future.

Finances, health, and contentment...these three things are like serial killers waiting to strike at the right moment. Like I stated previously before in my post before this...a person constantly worries if the career they choose will earn them enough money, earn them the right amount of cash to support their lives and family. Then comes health dancing into life. One smack from health will send your life tumbling down. Fearing that a loved one may get health problems is another stressful factor. Then contentment...I just want to restate what digital delay said. Contentment doesn't necessarily mean that a person is happy, or satisfied. A person never truly is happy, but content, yes. Even when you're dead excited about getting a new Wii, there's still a small dormant evil hiding behind your mind, waiting for the right moment to explode and pop your bubble of happiness.

Why, do you ask, am I writing an article on such a depressing, but very surreal, actual event occurring everyday topic? Well...because I'm stressed out myself. This blog was meant to help relieve ourselves...release our feelings, and let others know that they're not the only ones that are dealing with these similar problems us Acquired Minds are having. We're all people, and people behave like people, and people have the same feelings as other people.

Enjoy what's left of your day.

Painting a Life Canvas

Hope you’ve noticed the new header. From digital delay: “…we need some inspiration.”

Proceeding to my topic…

As we all know already (from the gazillion posts here), life is a very rocky road. Even rockier than rocky road ice cream. The tons of obstacles we face, the numerous pains we endure, and the things we stand and take in the face.

But one of the most important decisions in your life is your career. You’re getting/got an education for this sole purpose. In fact, life is a canvas. A blank, white canvas. When you finally decide what to do, you’re going to paint that blank canvas. Paint it however you want. Satisfy yourself with an enriched life.

But how do you get to that enriched life? You get a career that you’re satisfied with. In this world today, pressure is the main factor fueling our beliefs. We have to get a money-pocketing job. We need to get a good, brag-worthy job. We need to get a job that makes our family proud. Are you sure that’s the job you want? A doctor, a lawyer, a businessmen?

As quoted from a very special mentor…

“A job is a job. A career is your life.”

I couldn’t agree more. In other words, imagine those two as wounds. A scratch is a scratch. A scar is your life. You can always get a scratch (you can always get a job), and you can recover. But once you get a scar (once you get a career), there’s no turning back. Choose a career you absolutely know you’re going to love doing every single day of the rest of your life, 24/7. Anything that excites your inner interests.

Pressure is a hard thing to go against. Your family might think bad of you just because you want to follow a career to be a tattoo artist. But that’s what you want to do, and if you can’t do it, you might as well throw yourself off a cliff (…don’t do that, please.).

The transition into high school is the most important time to decide. High school will be your safe haven for the time being (remember my post about shootings?...yeah, it’s dangerous. But still a safe haven nonetheless). It’s where you’re going to learn all the skills you need to be successful in your career, and all the skills to continue living your life. Take your time, and soak up everything high school has to offer. (Remember saturated solutions…don’t soak up too much, ‘cuz a human’s got a limit. Oh boy, science class is getting to me…).

Alrighty…that’s it from me. I won’t be doing the Easter informational article this time around. Hope you have a great Easter weekend, though!

But, Honestly

Contentment is a funny word, at least these days it is. Being content basically means being satisfied. However, in today’s world, content is pretty much happiness. Obviously they’re very different words, but just dig a bit deeper. How many people that you know, if you ask them, would say they’re happy? I’m going to guess not too many. Therefore, we’ll consider the next step down, contentment, essentially happiness. If you know plenty of people who would say they’re happy, then terrific, you’ve surrounded yourself with happy, optimistic people, which can only do good things for you.

Everything today is about having “more”. Perhaps the only exception is that commercial “less is more” for toilet paper or something. Just look at super sized meals, and drinks. People are obsessed with celebrities, who have plenty regular people don’t have. Loving them so much, makes us want to be more like them. People want to be what they conceive as “perfect”. Everybody’s definition of the word will differ, however. Just as everybody’s opinion on “beauty”, or on things like cars, houses, appliances, instruments, electronics, will differ.

You look around yourself, and think when have you ever been content? You want a bigger house, a higher salary, more side-money, better relationships, better people, more stuff, and more. In a previous post, this was mentioned. Yet, while still imagining all the things you could have (and wish you did have), you can still imagine all the things others don’t have. Plenty of people don’t have shelter of any kind at all, plenty make a quarter of the money you do, and a lot of people don’t have a car, or the joy of music, or maybe even friends. There really is almost always someone worse off than you. Still, when thinking of those, the one that immediately comes off stronger in you mind is your situation, not anybody else’s. You will doubtlessly care more about a third-world country’s hunger than your favorite celebrities’ marriage, gossip, or that guitar you’ve been drooling over. Of course, that’s understandable, because all that applies to you.

Randomness (back again)
  1. Apparently, people fall into two categories: love addicts, and love avoiders. They basically mean what they say, oh and...don't quote me on any of this, i just found it somewhere.
  2. How many other people have picks that wear away next to the tip?...
  3. My (current) shirt has a bunch of stuff on it, but it basically it says you (whoever that is) talks too much so shut up.
  4. Who would have thought that, Eric Clapton (from Cream), John Lennon( The Beatles), Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones), and Mitch Mitchell(The Jimi Hendrix Experience) would be on the same stage?
  5. Eric Clapton and Eric Johnson made me appreciate (maybe perhaps even like) the strat. Oh boy, almsot forgot about Jeff Beck (i know there are a billion others, so don't pester me, like we all know Jimi Hendrix, or Stevie Ray Vaughan).
  6. This whole thing is like how Weezer's (ha..the muppets) "Blue" Album influenced them to have one of their other albums copy that and be named the "Green" Album.

Finer Feelings

Have you ever stopped and tried to appreciate everything around for you? Just for a few seconds maybe? Sometimes it can be difficult to do. Still, everyone should do it every now and then. Just imagine, your job just plain sucks. Your co-workers are terrible, and the pay doesn't match the workload. Yet, I'm sure you can think of a million other jobs that could be much worse. Perhaps your parents are treating you "unfairly". At least they provide shelter and food to you. They really do love (at least, they're supposed to) you, since during the course of your life they've probably spent hundreds of thousands of dollars raising you, maybe more. Imagine what would happen if they kept all that money, maybe they'd be living some adventurously fun, exciting life, carefree.

Still, guess you have the right to whine every once in a while. Sometimes, it shocks me how unappreciative I am. What a hypocrite.

For those of you who love your job, your situation, wherever you're at at the moment, maybe living your dreams, then congrats. Most of the rest of the world is quite envious of you. Hope you can continue doing what you do best, and loving it. Also, for everyone else's sake, let's hope you can actually do your job well (they're are plenty out there who can't...). If they don't realize it, they're probably ignorant, or arrogant...Though, they'd probably go all crazy if you say it (say it ain't so, it's probably your fault, not mine, don't blame me....blahblah).

You Talk Way Too Much (i try to tell myself to shut up more......it has never really worked...)

I always laugh at this, so will you
That's a great show

on the subject of sparta....this is funny too

Greed and Need (AKA Money)

As sad as it sounds, people's lives revolve around money.

There's always too little- not enough. Always- and that's what really gets to you.

There's this song I love, and it has this one quote;
"When I fall asleep I dream of happiness, in numbers and dollar signs."
When I heard that, the only thing I could really think of was parents.

They're always telling you, "marry a rich man so he can take care of you", "Get a job with good pay", "Study more so you can make lots of money." Money is all they really want you to have. Money brings happiness, no? It does, indeed indeed. Money will take away all your problems.

It's sad how that happens, and in my opinion money is the greatest evil of all. It causes people to rob, it causes people to be greedy, it causes people to do drastic things- but without it, how do we survive?

How would people feed their families? How would they stay sheltered? How would they do anything?

How about all those incredibly rich people? Are they happy? Are they really? Or are they just unsatisfied because they regret not becoming a writer instead of an accountant?

Sometimes, I wonder about my future and what I want to do. Honestly, I have no idea what I want, and it scares me. Once again money comes into play, and get this I get worried. What if I can't get a job and can't move out? What if I can't... blah blah blah.

I've come to the conclusion, that in the end I just want to be happy- get by with what I have.
But will I be happy just getting by?

There's a second "movement" to that song, and here's a line from that;
" I know the secret to your happiness. Take a deep breath, there's only one way; Give all you have away."

Gambling; one of the core reasons why money is evil. The temptation to give in to that huge voice screaming "throw it all in, take the chance of a lifetime". I think that it ruins so many lives. When you think of gambling what do you think? Vegas, cards, and money.

That's what it's all about, and sometimes I wonder if it's really that fun.

Is the chance of losing everything that much of a risk you'd like to take?

anyways, I'm honestly sorry about the incredible seriousnessosity I have on this post;;
karma police (what goes around, comes around)

p.s. for the songs they are this and this; they're live, since I couldn't find the recordings.

Great Minds Think Alike!?

I like the new blogs that Acquired Minds posted.
Woah. Aquired Minds. I've got to get used to saying that.
Anyway, I feel like branching off of what The Clam said.
It's Leap Year.
Happy Birthday to those who were born on Leap Day February 29th.
Yesh, it is kind of a disadvantage to have a birthday every FOUR years. But on the bright side, who'd think of this:

  • Being able to drive at four years old.
  • Able to drink at five years old.
  • Vote at age five. Who, by the way, are YOU hoping becomes president this year?

Hahah, pretty strange, huh?

And what about all that stuff that Digital Delay mentioned?

Well, I think he as a point when he says "There seems to be a lot of things around that are just messed up." and I totally agree. 100%.

Money, indeed, brings happiness. But everybody has wants and needs. Of course, your needs are more important. Such as...food for survival, the computer for work, money to raise your family...

But then you've got these other things. A list full of 'em. Your wants. Like, for instance, that extra cookie. Not only does it satisfy your tastebuds wants, but it also makes you fat. Do you really want that? I didn't think so. Then, for the computer, you NEED to do your homework; but, let's say...you use it look up, oh, I don't know...pornomimes? Can you say horny WANTS?? Now that's where things get out of control...

Oh, and to answer your question, Digital Delay, those famous people with their great lives and fame do drugs for oh, so many reasons! The most obvious: They want the attention. Hah, like they don't get enough already? All I seem to hear on the radio these days are Britney Spears...bald.......Angelina Jo Li...another alien kid.......Amy Winehouse...rehab AGAIN.......Jessica Alba...pregnant?.......What a reputation, right? Geez, people these days...It's like, their perfect life is ruined the next friggin' day. What the crap? Gossip and rumors? Nah. You know what's funny? The other day, in school, the teacher made us write down 10 rumors we've been hearing around us on a piece of paper.

  1. So and so got herself a boyfriend.
  2. He's going to ask her out again?
  3. So and so has hair??
  4. Woah, they kissed at the park yesterday.
  5. He got suspended. for punching some guy.
  6. Dude's got big ears.
  7. He's going to dump her tomorrow cuz he still likes her best friend.
  8. He grew.
  9. So and so and got into a fist fight at lunch.
  10. Jessica Alba is pregnant.

Then what do we do? We had to rip the papers up and throw them away into the trash can. That's it. It was supposed to teach us something? But all I got out of it was, how many trees did we just waste? How many minutes were wasted? Pencil lead? Oh gosh.

Why is it so easy to waste time? Yet, it takes up no time at all to waste time.

I dont if know that made any sense :/

But usually, I would catch every single episode of Grey's Anatomy. You know, that awesome show on ABC? Well, if you don't like it, then I don't care what you think. Damn screenwriters, going on strike. Didn't that whole chaotic thing end already? How come my show isn't on anymore?? It must come on soon.

*Peace Out*
